Irene da Cunda – Operations Manager
| | | Born in Uruguay. Came to Bonaire for the first time in 1995 and fell in love with the island. In 1998 came back to work as a Dive Instructor and later on as a Photo Pro and Underwater Videographer. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Behavior Modification as well as Certificates in Sports Psychology and Trasnpersonal Psychology. This -togeher with her knowledge of the island and more than 20 years working with turism- made it possible to make the shift from the dive industry to the hotel business. On her days off she loves to go diving to film, take pictures, explore or just relax. |

Anouk Bonenkamp - Assistant Operations Manager

| Anouk was born and raised in Almelo, located in the eastern part of the Netherlands. After finishing high school she started working as a buying assistant and in the evening she did her commercial education. When she finished her school she started to work for a toy company and became a buyer. Then she moved to the beautiful capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, known for its’ famous canals, where she had a very good time. Her parents took her on a holiday to Bonaire and it was love at first sight. So she visited Bonaire a couple of times more. After finding a job at Belmar apartments on her last holiday she decided that this is her home because this is where her heart is. On her days off she is either diving, swimming, reading, cooking or meeting with friends.

Tineke Mourits - Office Clerk
| | | Tineke was born and raised in Hazerswoude, in the western part of Holland. After finishing highschool she went working at the headquarters of a supermarket as the secretary of the director. After 6 years she stopped working when her son and daughter were born, but as soon as the children went to school she participated in the business of her husband and had the administration under her concern. In 2005 she came to Bonaire with her husband for the first time and they fell in love with the island. Tineke took a dive course in Holland so that she could be her husband's buddy when they would come back to Bonaire. The next year they bought themselves a house on Bonaire and made plans to move there. In January 2009 they moved to Bonaire and since October 2009 Tineke works at Belmar. |

Chrissie Wootton – Assistant Dive Operations Manager
| | | Born in Northumberland in the United Kingdom with a Swiss mother and an English father Chrissie’s destiny was an International one from the start. She got an Honours degree in Psychology and spent one year teaching English in France. Before coming to Bonaire she was partner in a Management Consultancy firm conducting Leadership & Communications trainings in the UK and US. It was on a dive vacation in Curacao where she met her boyfriend and being fed up with a long distance relationship and the stressful life in the UK she decided to make the move. She moved to Bonaire in March 2004 and since her passions are teaching and diving, being a dive instructor is a dream that came true! During her days off she enjoys being with her 2 dogs, exploring the island with the 4x4 truck, “chilling out Bonairean style” which lacks any stress!!

Sara Brandsen - Dive Master
|
| Born in the Center of the Netherlands, which is known as the wetlands, Sara grew up in a small village called Woerden. After finishing her high school, Sara went to the well know Art Academy in Utrecht to become a photographer. Then Sara decided to replace her camera for a suitcase to see a bit more of the world and her eye fell on Bonaire. She started working in the hotel industry, working at the front desk and reservations in another hotel and as an assistant manager at Belmar Apartments. At the end of 2008 wanting another challenge Sara took the dive master course. She enjoyed the diving on Bonaire so much she decided to replace her blouse for a wetsuit and is now part of the dive team at Belmar.

Ebby Jules - Dive Instructor

| | Ebby joined the Belmar Dive Team in April 2008. For those of you who have visited Bonaire in the past may remember him from Toucan Diving where he worked for a number of years. Ebby is originally from Curacao and has lived on all 5 of the islands in the Netherlands Antilles. Prior to working in the dive industry Ebby was a policeman and at the end of May 2009 he was offered a position back with the police force that he could not refuse. Due to his love of diving Ebby still works for the diveshop during the weekends when things are busy and is still available for guided dives and courses on Saturdays and Sundays. Ebby is very passionate about diving and enjoys sharing his vast knowledge of the creatures and reef surrounding Bonaire and is truly happy when his divers are also happy. |

Nathaly Cicilia – Room Attendant

| Born and raised on Bonaire Nathaly has five children ranging from the age 6 to 18. Her favorite hobby is cooking and she considers the Peruvian dish “Chiviche” as her specialty as well as local stoba’s and fish. Nathaly likes going out with her friends for a drink while not working or cooking.

Miriela Thielman - Room Attendant

| Born on Curacao but raised on Bonaire Miriela has two beautiful daughters. Before working at Belmar she worked as a room attedant at a big resort. She loves her new job at Belmar because of the small scale and therefore more intimate. When she has a moment for herself she likes reading and singing. On Friday night you can find her at La Terassa singing at rithem of the Caribbean Blues.
